The NYPD Launches An Innovative Program Called ShotSpotter

The NYPD has just launched ShotSpotter. It's a program that will notify the police when there are gunshots in the area even if no one reports them or calls 911. This will allow police to attend to crime more rapidly and hopefully prevent gun related deaths in the city.
