July 6, 1957 during a concert in the garden of the church of St. Peter, Ivan Vohen introduced John Lennon and Paul McCartney. John was impressed with the musical knowledge of Paul. The guy owned a chord and knew the words on the new games rock and roll, in particular, such as «Twenty Flight Rock» Eddie Cochran and Be-Bop-A-Lula Gene Vincent. Many years later Paul remembered that also genuinely surprised that John was playing guitar like a banjo - took only four chords strings. Paul finally conquered his new friends that know how to tune a guitar and two weeks later, John and Paul gave an invitation to join the group Quarrymen.
