During World War II The Anderson Shelter Was Very Popular

In 1938 the "Anderson Shelter" named after its inventor John Anderson was very popular. The shelter was small and cheap and it gave families piece of mind and made them feel safer. Almost two million of these bunkers were sold during the World War II era.
