Etenesh Diro Finishes An Olympic Race With Only One Shoe

Etenesh Diro represented Ethiopia in the women’s 3,000-meter steeplechase race and she did it while wearing only one shoe. During the race Diro fell down and broke some of the spikes on her shoes. She quickly tossed the shoes aside and continued to run for half a mile finishing seventh.
