Meteor explosion in Chelyabinsk, Russia

In the skies over the Chelyabinsk approximately 09:30 local time, an explosion occurred. According to MOE, over the region was a meteor rain. Space monitoring devices before the explosion recorded activity in the lower atmosphere.
