Lena Paahlsson lost her wedding ring, set with 7 small diamonds, in her kitchen in 1995. The Swedish couple searched for it for 16 years, and finally discovered the ring in a very unusual place.
The couple believed that Lena’s ring fell into a sink and was probably turned into compost or fed to the sheep ending up in the manure that was spread over the vegetable patch.
The long-lost wedding ring was found on a carrot in their garden. The carrot was sprouting in the middle of the ring.
