The Simpsons Finally Revealed The Truth About Smithers' Sexuality

"The Simpsons" has been on TV for 27 seasons now and one of the show's oldest characters recently came into focus on a big episode. The episode was titled "The Burns Cage" and the writers finally confirmed that Smithers is gay by having Homer Simpson try to set him up with a new boyfriend. The writer said that he dedicated the episode to his son who is also gay.
