In 1909 French banker Albert Kahn was sick of seeing so many black and white photos, so he sent four photographers all around the world to take color photos. In 1914 Leon Gimpel, Stephane Passet, Georges Chevalier, and Auguste Leon ended up in Paris and they captured the beauty of the city in these rare photos.
