Marco Simonchelli died in an accident on the Malaysian Grand Prix World Championship Moto GP
Gresini Honda Pilot team struggled to fourth place with Alvaro Bautista, when one of the corners has not kept his bike and slid off the path. Unmanaged Honda Simonchelli suffered under the wheels of Colin Edwards and Valentino Rossi. The accident was thrown from the motorcycle Simonchelli, and with the pilot's head blew off the helmet.
