The first owner was a Hans Friedrich Prim, whose family in 1903 invented the "buttons" for clothes. He bought the car April 25, 1935 - a month after the car made its debut at the Motor Show in Berlin.

Genuine Mercedes-Benz 500 K were fitted with five-liter "eight" with a mechanical supercharger (which could include a driver for acceleration), independent front and rear suspension, four-speeds gearbox and drum brakes with hydraulic booster. Motor output was 100 hp in the normal state and 160 horsepower - with active charging.
